Valentine Healing Hearts: Cards of Connection for Seniors
This Valentine’s Day, join us in spreading love and connection to seniors in our community through the Valentine Healing Hearts Campaign. Many seniors experience isolation, emotional hardship, or limited support, and your thoughtful participation can make a lasting difference.
About the Event
Volunteers will create personalized Valentine cards filled with heartfelt messages, uplifting quotes, and a touch of creativity. Each card will be delivered to a senior to remind them that they are seen, valued, and remembered.
To make each card even more special, we are inviting the community to donate small keepsakes to include inside the cards, such as:
Origami hearts or small paper crafts
Handmade bookmarks or decorative tokens
Inspirational slips or mini notes with positive messages
Stickers, flat charms, or small, safe trinkets
Optional: flat treats or tea bags for in-person delivery
Volunteer Participation Options
Create Cards Individually – Write personal messages and decorate your cards.
Assemble a Kit – Volunteers can create a complete Valentine Kit with cards, keepsakes, and instructions provided by the Cozy Cabinet founder. These kits can then be dropped off for distribution.
Donate Keepsakes – Send small, flat, safe items to be included in the cards.
Optional Delivery – Help Julie to deliver cards to local senior centers or homes if available.
